HOW TO USE
Ginger Tea:
- 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced or grated
- 8 oz (1 cup) hot water
- Optional: lemon slice, honey to taste
- Instructions: Place ginger in a mug. Pour hot water over it. Steep for 5-10 minutes (longer for stronger flavor). Strain and enjoy with lemon and honey if desired.
Recipe: Quick Ginger-Garlic Stir-Fry
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb chicken breast or firm tofu, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups mixed stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots)
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Instructions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken/tofu and cook until browned. Add vegetables, ginger, and garlic, stir-frying for 3-5 minutes until crisp-tender. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Ginger Syrup:
- 1 cup fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
